Casemiro's double brought victory to "Real" team in the match against "Sevilla"

On Saturday, the Madrid team "Real" achieved a very important victory in the 20th round of the Spanish "La Liga" championship.

Playing with an impressive lineup, Zinedine Zidane's team proved their advantage against "Sevilla" in front of their spectators. Casemiro's double ensured a victory for the "Real" team with a score of 2:1.

The match started off quite difficult for the Madrid team - "Sevilla" confidently played with the ball and posed a threat to Thibaut Courtois' goal from the very beginning.

"Sevilla" directed the ball towards the hosts' goal in the first half, but the goal was disallowed due to a foul on Eder Militao.

In the second half, the "Real" players played much better with the ball. In the 57th minute, Casemiro, after a great pass from Luka Jovic, scored the first goal for the "whites".

After the goal, "Real" felt even more confident, but a lack of concentration in defense soon cost them the equalizing goal - in the 64th minute, Luuk de Jong finally scored with a fantastic shot.

However, the visitors from Seville did not enjoy this result for long - just five minutes later, Casemiro's header gave his team the lead again. As the subsequent events of the match showed, this Brazilian's goal was decisive.

Leading the table, "Real" now has a three-point lead over "Barcelona" at least temporarily.

In other matches, "Alaves" achieved a minimal victory. On the other hand, the match between "Osasuna" and "Real Valladolid" ended in a draw.
