During the Sunday afternoon press conference, the legendary "Real" goalkeeper Iker Casillas bid farewell to the royal club and its fans.
Since childhood, the football player, who belonged to the Madrid team for 25 years, could not contain his tears.
"I came to this great stadium to say 'goodbye' to all of you. Especially to the 'Real' fans. Starting from Sunday, I am already a 'Porto' football player.
I am leaving for Portugal for many reasons. The 'Porto' club and its coach really wanted to attract me and put a lot of effort into achieving this goal. I will give everything I can so as not to disappoint them.
In the 'Real' team, I learned a lot from various coaches and developed as a person.
I would like to be remembered here not as a good or bad goalkeeper, but as a good person. Thank you. Wherever I am, I will always shout 'Hala Madrid!'" Casillas said.
