The Serie A has resolved the conflict between the Genoa club and forward Antonio Cassano - the Italian will stay with the team and will be reintegrated into the squad from the new year.

Serie A team managers sought to terminate the contract with the scandalous footballer who broke discipline, but the arbitration board decided that there is no basis for it.

However, 28-year-old Cassano will have to settle for a salary that is half of what he used to earn - it has been reduced from 3 million euros to 1.5 million.

Immediately after this news, rumors spread that the Italian has already reached an agreement with AC Milan and will be sold once the winter transfer window opens. So far, this information has not been officially confirmed, but other teams such as Roma, Liverpool, Man City, and Juventus are also interested.
