Bergamo „Atalanta“ team fans are outraged. The decision of the club's leaders to approve festive socks of bizarre design unpleasantly surprised the fans of the Italian club. Fans claim that the Turin city skyline can be seen in the background of the sports clothing. This opinion was expressed by the fans on a poster hanging near the training center, urging the people of Bergamo to boycott the purchase of socks. Although the clothing manufacturers denied that the contours of the Turin city were visible in the background, the fans of „Atalanta“ did not hesitate to mock online and found exactly the same image in the „Adobe“ image store. „Atalanta“ owners plan to donate the proceeds from selling clothing marked with Christmas motifs to charity organizations.
