"Celtic" again leads by three points © EuroFootball.com

On Saturday, Glasgow "Celtic" increased their lead to three points over Edinburgh "Hearts" after winning the 18th round match of the Scottish "Premier" League.

John Hartson's goal allowed the championship leaders to secure a victory at home against Edinburgh "Hibernian", even though the visitors equalized the match result twice.

All three Lithuanians from "Hearts" appeared on the field in the matches held in Edinburgh: Deividas Česnauskis played the entire match and scored once directly into the goalkeeper, while forward Edgaras Jankauskas and midfielder Saulius Mikoliūnas appeared as substitutes. "Inverness CT" played confidently in these matches and had several opportunities to score a goal, but "Hearts" goalkeeper Craig Gordon played reliably and both teams settled for a draw.

The match between "Aberdeen" and "Dunfermline" also ended in a draw, and two matches ended with minimal victories: "Livingston" defeated "Dundee Utd" at home and climbed from the bottom of the league table, while "Motherwell" celebrated a victory away against "Falkirk".

The last round match between defending champions Glasgow "Rangers" and "Kilmarnock" will be played tomorrow.
