Central tower match: "Juventus" victory © EuroFootball.com

In the 28th round of the Italian championship, Turin's "Juventus" and Rome's "Lazio" met in a central match. The Turin club won the victory by a minimal result of 1-0, and this is their first victory against "Lazio" since 1998.

Home team started the match aggressively and in the very first attack, Trezeguet headed the ball just beside the goal.

In the 17th minute, it seemed that "Lazio" broke through: Fiore's high pass from the edge into the goal was sent by Brazilian Cesar. The referee spotted the offside Inzaghi, and although he was passive in this episode, the goal was not counted.

Two minutes later, Zambrotto's strong shot was well saved by goalkeeper Serenis.

"Juve" controlled the ball more and tried to score from a distance, but a defensive error almost ended up in a goal - Legrottaglie missed the header, Fiore passed to the center, Buffon's punched ball bounced to Liverani, but his shot was a bit inaccurate.

The second half started quietly, and both teams did not create more dangerous chances.

In the 78th minute, Miccoli entered the field and was close to scoring - after a penalty, his curled ball hit the crossbar from the top.

Just when it seemed like the teams had settled for a draw, "Juventus" scored a goal. In the 88th minute, Camoranesio's pass was headed into the goal by Trezeguet without any interference.

"Lazio" tried to save the game by releasing the fast forward Lopez, but there was simply not enough time.

Tomorrow, at four o'clock, in the final round of matches, "Perugia" and "Inter" will meet.
