The goalkeeper of the Spanish national team and London club Cesc Fabregas will arrive at the team's preseason camp on July 24 and stated that he is not at all concerned about Madrid's interest.
Real Madrid's new president Ramon Calderon stated that the 19-year-old talent will move to the "royal" club as one of his promised signings, but the goalkeeper rejected talks about agreeing to join one of the strongest European teams.
"I am not thinking about anything other than playing for Arsenal next season," the young talent told the Mundo Deportivo newspaper. "I am one hundred percent an Arsenal player and no one has said anything different to me."
C. Fabregas, who scored his first goal as a member of the Arsenal team at just 16 years old, made his debut for the Spanish national team in March. He was the youngest member of the national team at the World Cup and appeared in all four tournament matches.
However, the player revealed that he would like to return to Spain in the future and compete there, but also said that he is satisfied with his life in England at the moment.
"Sooner or later, I would like to test my skills in the Spanish league, which I left when I was only 16 and didn't even have a chance to show up, but now I am satisfied with life in England," said the talented footballer.
Last season, C. Fabregas reached the UEFA Champions League final with Arsenal. In the final, the London team lost to Barcelona, which had developed the young Spanish prodigy. Fabregas himself scored one of the two Arsenal goals in the quarter-final match against Juventus, which led to his team's victory. Wearing the shirt of the Spanish national team, the player participated in the World Cup for the first time, but failed to score a goal.
