Ch. Dugarry: "Clowns run the Barcelona club"

Former "Barcelona" forward Christophe Dugarry strongly criticized the current club management.

Lately, the "Barcelona" management has been receiving a lot of criticism not only from outsiders, but also from the players themselves. Recently, Lionel Messi responded with a strict tone to the statements of sports director Eric Abidal.

Even more criticism falls on club president Josep Bartomeu.

"It's a club full of clowns," Ch. Dugarry told the French media. "Everything is done in the opposite way. They buy players like Coutinho, Dembele, and others, whom they later just sell. It creates an impression that this club has no project."

"During every transfer window, they have problems. After Xavi and Iniesta left the club, 'Barcelona' has not acquired a single suitable player, even though they spend a lot."

"And, most importantly, they have a very poor reputation in the football community. There are too many people in the club who lack any elegance and class, which is essential for someone with such status," said the Frenchman who represented the Catalan club in the 1997-98 season.
