On Wednesday, the UEFA Champions League continued with the matches of the first round. In Group A, Amsterdam's "Ajax" team at home defeated Glasgow's "Rangers" club with a score of 4:0. The winners scored goals through E. Alvarez, S. Berghuis, M. Kudus, and S. Berwijn.
In Group D, Lisbon's "Sporting" didn't show any mercy to Frankfurt's "Eintracht" club with a 3:0 victory away from home. The Portuguese team scored all goals in the second half, with goals from M. Edwards, Trincao, and N. Santos.
