On Wednesday, an unpredictable match took place in Birmingham in the UEFA Champions League.
The local team "Aston Villa" faced off against the Munich "Bayern" team, which had striker H. Kane, who had recovered from a minor injury, ready to play.
At the beginning of the match, the Germans tried to dominate the field, while the English club was looking for their chances during quick counterattacks.
In the 22nd minute, "Aston Villa" player Pau Torres scored a goal, but the referee ruled it offside, and the score remained unchanged.
Towards the end of the half, S. Gnabry and M. Olise had decent chances to score.
After the break, the representatives of the Bundesliga continued to unsuccessfully attempt to break through the hosts' defense, until they eventually conceded a goal themselves.
After coming off the bench, J. Duran outsmarted M. Neuer, who had ventured too far from the goal, and turned the score in favor of the Birmingham team – 1:0.
During the remaining time, "Bayern" failed to respond with at least one accurate shot, and V. Kompany's side suffered their first defeat of the season across all competitions.
