In the Champions League quarterfinals, Dortmund's "Borussia" struggled a lot, but managed to advance to the next stage.
In the first knockout stage, BVB defeated PSV with an overall score of 3:1, with the decisive second match ending 2:0.
The first goal of the match came very early. In the third minute, Jadon Sancho scored a great goal and put Dortmund ahead.
PSV had several chances during the match, but failed to get past Gregor Kobel.
Finally, Marco Reus secured the victory during extra time, taking advantage of a mistake by a PSV defender. The Borussia veteran had previously contributed to a precise Fullkrug shot, but it was disallowed due to offside.
Dortmund will find out their opponent in the quarterfinals on Friday during the draw ceremony.
