On Tuesday, five matches of the final qualification round for the group stage of the UEFA Champions League were played.
The first match took place in Saint Petersburg, where the local team "Zenit" confidently defeated "Liege" with a score of 3-0 and advanced to the Champions League with an overall score of 4-0.
The journey of Luka Spalvis, who was recovering from an injury, and his team "Aalborg" in the strongest European tournament came to an end. "APOEL" crushed the Danes at their stronghold, despite the first match ending in a draw.
"Porto" also secured their spot in the group stage by defeating "Lille" 2-0 at home. Glasgow "Celtic" was unexpectedly eliminated from the tournament, narrowly losing to "Maribor".
