Today, the UEFA Champions League group stage draw ceremony was held at the "Grimaldi Forum" in Monaco.
All 32 strongest teams of this season's Old Continent were divided into eight groups. The most interesting matches are anticipated in groups A, D, and F.
Group A will see a fierce battle between two clubs - Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid. Donetsk's Shakhtar and Malmo will also seek to compete with the giants of Spain and France.
"Manchester United," returning to the Champions League, will face CSKA Moscow, PSV, and Wolfsburg in Group B, while last season's finalist Atletico Madrid will test Lisbon's Benfica, Istanbul's Galatasaray, and Astana in Group C.
Group D is particularly rich for football enthusiasts. It includes Juventus, Manchester City, Sevilla, and Borussia Monchengladbach. Barcelona, the champions of last season, will fight for a spot in the next stage in Group D against Bayer Leverkusen, Roma, and BATE Borisov.
London's Arsenal also did not manage to avoid tough draws. In Group F, they will face Bayern Munich, Olympiacos, and Dinamo Zagreb.
Group G will see a meeting of Chelsea, Porto, Dynamo Kyiv, and Maccabi Tel Aviv, while in the last group H, teams of relatively equal strength - Zenit, Valencia, Lyon, and Gent - will test their abilities.
The 2015-16 Champions League group stage will begin on September 15th.
