Champions League: H. Elliot snatched victory for Liverpool in Paris

On Wednesday, the UEFA Champions League continued with the round of 16 matches.

The Paris Saint Germain team hosted Liverpool at home. In a tough match, the only goal was scored in the 87th minute, when H. Elliott seized his chance and gifted the victory to the English team.

At the beginning of the match, PSG had two opportunities, but neither F. Ruiz nor J. Neves capitalized on their chances.

In the 20th minute, K. Kvaratskhelia brought the entire Parc Des Princes stadium to its feet, but the Georgian's goal was disallowed due to offside.

At the end of the half, PSG newcomer tried his luck from a distance again, but showed his skill was Alisson.

In the second half, the home team's forward O. Dembele squandered his chances. When it seemed that the match might end in a draw, Liverpool forward H. Elliott "shot" and scored the only goal of the match during a quick attack – 1:0.
