The Munich team "Bayern" faced a serious challenge. The Bundesliga club had to retaliate against the Rome team "Lazio" if they wanted to continue the fight in the UEFA Champions League knockout stages.
On Tuesday, T. Tuchel's team tried to retaliate at home after losing 0-1 in the first leg.
The Germans completed this task with flying colors and won the match 3-0.
The first goal of the match came in the 39th minute when H. Kane headed the ball into the net after a chaotic host attack.
Before halftime, "Lazio" received another blow - after a corner kick, M. De Ligt's shot trajectory changed and T. Muller scored the second goal of the match (2-0).
In the 66th minute, the fate of the match was finally sealed with the third goal of the Munich team.
L. Sane broke through towards the penalty area and took a shot. I. Provedel made a skillful save, but the rebound was directed into the net by H. Kane - 3-0.
