Champions League: Will "Juventus" withstand the waves of attacking from "Real"? (PHOTO)

"Juventus" is aiming to play another powerful game, while Madrid's "Real" has nowhere else to go - the royal club needs a victory to reach the Champions League final for the second season in a row.

In the second leg of the semi-final match (the first ended 2-1 in favor of the "Serie A" club - ed. note), the Italians do not intend to play defensive football - goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon and defender Giorgio Chiellini mentioned it.

"Madrid's team is represented by such great players that if we close up in defense, we will leave ourselves vulnerable," Buffon said. "I think we will try to play smartly, showing that we have a certain advantage, no matter how small it may be."

"Each of us dreams of fulfilling the dream - playing in the final. The only way to get there is to go to Madrid and play football," added G. Chiellini.

"We have to score a goal, as we cannot try to defend such a fragile advantage against 'Real'. The team is in a fighting mood. Last week was tension-free because we already won the 'Scudetto.' We prepared well for the match and eagerly await Wednesday evening," he continued.

Meanwhile, in the "Real" team, there is a different atmosphere. Last weekend, Carlo Ancelotti's proteges could not beat "Valencia" at home and almost lost their chances to fight for the Spanish champion's title.

Their forward James Rodriguez was particularly determined and hoped to retaliate at least in the Champions League.

"Our team is not afraid of anything. Of course, we respect all the world's teams and know Italian clubs very well. They defend excellently, and we will have to break through their defense," said the Colombian.

The hosts' team will be lacking the injured Luka Modric, but "Real" fans will most likely be able to enjoy the play of forward Karim Benzema again.

There are doubts about the chances of Toni Kroos. The Turin team will be strengthened by the return of injured midfielder Paul Pogba, and the match will be watched from the sidelines by Kwadwo Asamoah and Martin Caceres.

Interesting facts:

- 47% of the teams (9/19) that managed to win the first leg of the knockout round at home with a score of 2-1, were able to make it to the Champions League final.

- The "Juventus" and "Real" teams have shared eight wins in their Champions League matches against each other.

The match will be broadcast live on TV6 and "Viasat Sport Baltic" channels.
