The quarterfinal stage of the UEFA Champions League has started.

On Tuesday, at the "Santiago Bernabeu" stadium in Madrid, the "Real" team hosted the "Man City" team. The very intense and emotional match ended with a draw - 3:3.

The "City" team started the match fantastically and in the 2nd minute, taking advantage of a mistake by the hosts' goalkeeper A. Lunin, B. Silva scored the first goal.

"Real" struck back hard. In the 12th minute, a shot by E. Camavingo hit R. Dias and went into the English goal - 1:1.

A few minutes later, the royal team launched a lightning-fast counterattack and Rodrygo managed to weave through several opponents and take the Spaniards ahead - 2:1.

"Man City" struggled to create chances in attack, while "Real" tried to threaten the opponents' goal even more.

In the second half, the situation turned upside down again.

First, P. Foden equalized the score, and in the 71st minute, J. Guardiola with a great shot gave "Man City" a narrow advantage.

The players of the Madrid team fought back to equalize once again, and in the 79th minute F. Valverde succeeded in doing so (3:3).

The second leg will be played in Manchester on April 17.
