Champions League winners traveled to London with the most powerful squad

Preparing for the first UEFA Champions League quarter-final match, Barcelona head coach Luis Enrique invited 19 of his players.

On Tuesday evening, the Catalan club will test their strength against Arsene Wenger's Arsenal team at the Emirates Stadium in London.

It is already clear that in this match, goalkeeper Arda Turan will not play due to suspension.

The Turkish national team goalkeeper must sit out the clash with London's Arsenal due to a red card received in last season's Champions League matches. At that time, playing for Atletico Madrid, A. Turan initially received a yellow card in the second leg of the quarter-finals against Real Madrid, and in the second half, he received a second caution and had to leave the field. Atletico lost that match 0-1 and ended their Champions League run.

Although A. Turan changed clubs in the summer and moved from Atletico to Barcelona, the disciplinary sanction remained in place, so the Turkish player will definitely not escape the match against Arsenal.

Also left out of the Barcelona squad by Luis Enrique were forward Sandro Ramirez, defenders Marc Bartra and Douglas Pereira, as well as midfielder Rafinha continuing his rehabilitation following a cruciate ligament injury and surgery.

Players invited for the match against Arsenal:

Goalkeepers: Claudio Bravo, Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Jordi Masip;

Defenders: Gerard Pique, Dani Alves, Jordi Alba, Aleix Vidal, Javier Mascherano, Thomas Vermaelen, Jeremy Mathieu, Adriano Correia;

Midfielders: Andres Iniesta, Sergio Busquets, Ivan Rakitic, Sergi Roberto;

Forwards: Lionel Messi, Neymar, Luis Suarez, Munir El Haddadi.
