"Chapecoense" awarded "Copa Sudamericana" trophy

At the time when the "Chapecoense" club was awarded the "Copa Sudamericana" trophy, there wasn't much joy. Earlier this month, while flying to play the final, the Brazilian team did not make it to the stadium. Their plane crashed, claiming the lives of 71 people. The trophy was awarded to "Chapecoense" at the request of their final opponents, "Atletico Nacional." The new club president Plinio David de Nes Filho thanked the entire football community for their support and solidarity after this tragedy. At the same event, the draw for next year's "Copa Libertadores" was announced, where "Chapecoense" will also be competing. The newly formed team will return to the stadiums at the end of January, when they will face "Internacional de Lages." Four days earlier, a friendly match between the Brazilian and Colombian national teams will also take place, dedicated to raising funds for "Chapecoense."
