“Chelsea” will have a subsidiary club in Europe.
It has been officially announced that the “Chelsea” company has acquired the majority of the shares in the “Strasbourg” club. Some reports claim that they managed to acquire almost 100 percent of the French club's shares.
Strasbourg team struggled this season, but managed to stay in the “Ligue 1” championship.
The London club continues to expand. This move may not be the end in order to become one of the strongest clubs in Europe.
“L'Equipe” adds that Chelsea's forward David Datro Fofana could already join the Strasbourg team on loan terms.
