"Chelsea" and "Barcos" in showdown - a draw, "Bayern" crushes the Turks (VIDEO, PHOTOS)

On Tuesday evening, two more first round matches of the UEFA Champions League were played.

The most attention-grabbing match took place at Stamford Bridge stadium, where London's Chelsea welcomed Barcelona. As expected, there were no high-scoring battles here - the teams exchanged goals in the second half and ended with a 1-1 draw.

The match started quite sluggishly - Barcelona dominated possession, while Chelsea occasionally tried to transition quickly from defense to offense. The first half was similar, but despite the pressure from the visitors, Chelsea had two real chances to break ahead.

Willian, who shined the brightest in these matches, hit the post twice in the first half - once from the right and another time from the left.

In the second half, Chelsea looked slightly more threatening with the ball, much to the dissatisfaction of Barcelona. In the 62nd minute, the first goal of the match was scored, and Willian scored his third goal in this match after a superb pass from Eden Hazard, with a great shot past the opponent's goalkeeper.

After the goal, Chelsea continued to solidly hold their defensive line. Barcelona struggled to create chances in front of the opponent's goal, but in the 75th minute, they received a gift from the hosts themselves - Andreas Christensen made an inaccurate pass, Andres Iniesta intercepted the ball and after a great pass allowed Lionel Messi to equalize the score.

L. Messi finally broke his goalless streak against Chelsea, and Barcelona achieved a relatively positive result in London - the teams ended in a draw.

More action took place in the match where Bayern Munich met Besiktas from Istanbul. An early red card took all the excitement away in Germany - Bavarians crushed the visitors from Turkey with a score of 5-0.

In the 16th minute, Domagoj Vida received a red card and Besiktas had to play with ten men. However, the visitors defended quite well in the first half - conceding only one goal from Thomas Muller.

However, in the second half, the opponents ran out of energy, and Bayern approached the quarterfinals. Kingsley Coman increased the advantage in the 53rd minute, and Thomas Muller started the opponents' destruction in the 66th minute.

Later, Robert Lewandowski scored two more goals, putting the final nail in the coffin in this match. Besiktas practically has no chance in the second leg.
