English Premier League clubs have started their battles in the country's league cup.
In the second round of the English league cup, London's "Chelsea" clashed with "Bristol Rovers", who compete in the third most powerful league in the country.
Antonio Conte's players did not have an easy match, even though they played with a fairly strong lineup. The "Blues" celebrated a victory with a score of 3-2, with Michy Batshuayi scoring a double. Victor Moses also scored a goal in the 31st minute of the match.
It was much easier for the "Liverpool" club to advance to the third round. Jurgen Klopp's team defeated "Burton" with a score of 0-5. The goal scorers for the winners were Divock Origi, Roberto Firmino, an own goal by Tomas Naylor, and a double by Daniel Sturridge.
Also advancing to the next round were "Crystal Palace", Liverpool's "Everton", "Hull City", "Swansea", and "Stoke City", while other Premier League representatives - "West Brom" and "Watford" - exited the tournament already after the second stage.
