In the Italian media, rumors have started spreading that there could be swaps between London's Chelsea and Milan clubs in the upcoming player transfer window.
Sky Italia claims that Chelsea strategist Maurizio Sarri would like to reestablish collaboration with Gonzalo Higuain, who is currently on loan to Milan.
Rossoneri have to pay 18 million euros for the year-long loan to Juventus, and another 36 million euros at the end of the season if they wish to acquire full rights to him. However, the financially struggling fashion capital team is not inclined to release such a sum for the Argentine striker who has been struggling this season.
Chelsea wants to take advantage of this situation and offers Alvaro Morata instead of Higuain to Milan. The Blues would be willing to borrow the Argentine until the end of the season and later pay the full amount for him.
Alvaro Morata would also play for Milan at least until the end of the season.
Maurizio Sarri knows the striker well - under him, Gonzalo Higuain became the top scorer in Serie A with 36 goals.
