Chelsea considers the possibility of violating J. Sancho's loan conditions © Chelsea

Last summer, London’s Chelsea loaned Jadon Sancho from Manchester United.

The loan agreement includes a clause stipulating that Chelsea must purchase the English player for £25 million if they finish no lower than 14th place in the Premier League next summer.

It is clear that the London club will meet this condition, but Chelsea is seriously considering the possibility of not acquiring J. Sancho after all.

This is reported by journalist David Ornstein, who adds that in such a case, Chelsea will have to pay a penalty of £5 million to Man Utd.

J. Sancho's contract with Man Utd is valid until the summer of 2026.
