On Sunday evening, the last two participants of the FA Cup semifinal were determined.
The most interesting match took place in Leicester, where the local team faced London's Chelsea. After an intense battle that lasted more than 90 minutes, Antonio Conte's team advanced to the semifinals.
The first goal of the match came in the 42nd minute, when Alvaro Morata received a great pass from Willian, escaped from the defenders, and scored past Kasper Schmeichel.
However, the "Foxes" did not give up and equalized the score in the middle of the second half - Jamie Vardy found the back of the net. With no more goals in regular time, the teams had to play extra time.
During the extra time, Chelsea performed better and a substitute, Pedro, secured the victory. After a pass from N'Golo Kante, Pedro found himself in front of the goalkeeper and scored with a header.
Also advancing to the semifinals after a victory against Wigan was Southampton. Yesterday, Manchester United and Tottenham also secured their spots.
