Next summer, fans of London's "Chelsea" team can not expect very young team newcomers.

As journalist and "blues" expert Simon Phillips reports, the capital club has decided to abandon the special player acquisition rule.

Until now, the new team managers had been determined not to invite players over the age of 25 to "Chelsea".

However, the results of the last few seasons have shown that this strategy did not pay off.

During Todd Boehly's leadership, 28 newcomers arrived at the club, for whom more than 1 billion pounds sterling was spent.

Meanwhile, with coach Maurizio Pochettino taking over the team, 12 players were bought and all of them were younger than 25 years old.
