Doneck's "Shakhtar" defender Alex Teixeira confirmed that he is being interested in by London's "Chelsea" club and he is ready to put on the "blue" socks in January.
The 25-year-old footballer is showing impressive athletic form this season within the ranks of the Ukrainian team. In 18 games played, the Brazilian has already scored 17 times.
It seems that A. Teixeira is not willing to stay in Ukraine until the end of the season and will follow in the footsteps of former teammates Douglas Costa and Luiz Adriano.
"I am very happy that a club like 'Chelsea' has shown interest in me," the defender revealed. "It would be very important for me to test myself in the English 'Premier' league."
"If I receive an offer in January, I have no doubt that I will accept a new chapter in my career," the footballer concluded.
