“Chelsea” team announced that they have extended their contract with Ruben Loftus-Cheek until the summer of 2021.
The 20-year-old midfielder did not hide his joy after signing the contract, being able to continue playing for the team where he started his football career.
“I am happy to have signed a new contract with the ‘Chelsea’ team and my goal now is to work hard every day to establish myself in the first team. This means a lot to me and shows the club's belief in me, so I am very happy. ‘Chelsea’ has done a lot for me, and I started my journey in the team from the youth team at 8 years old. Now I want to live up to the expectations placed on me with good performances on the field,” - said Loftus-Cheek to the club's website.
The midfielder made his debut in the main lineup of ‘Chelsea’ in December 2014, and has so far played a total of 13 matches in the ‘Blues’ squad.
