London's "Chelsea" has identified the main candidate to replace the departing goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.
"Sky Sports" reports that the "Blues" are looking to hire Liverpool's "Everton" representative Jordan Pickford.
The 24-year-old England goalkeeper is ahead of Kasper Schmeichel and Jack Butland in the list.
However, it is doubtful whether "Everton" would want to sell a goalkeeper who performed well in the World Cup.
The new "Chelsea" coach Maurizio Sarri plans to speak directly with Th. Courtois, who is returning from vacation next Monday, and then clarify the next steps for the London team.
