Since 2018, defender Emerson, playing for "Chelsea", started the season very successfully.
The 25-year-old Italian played in all four "Premier League" matches and took a place in the starting lineup from Marcos Alonso.
In the summer, Turin's "Juventus" team, coached by former "Chelsea" strategist Maurizio Sarri, was interested in Emerson's services, but it seems that the "aristocrats" are not willing to part with their defender.
"Goal" reports that "Chelsea" is preparing to start negotiations with the Italian regarding a contract extension. Emerson's current contract is valid until 2022.
The defender has already played 39 matches in the "aristocrats" team, scoring one goal during that time.
