Approaching the winter transfer window, the media is constantly buzzing about Chelsea's poorly starting season. The "aristocrats" are immediately linked to two defenders and one attacker.
According to the Turkish source - "Fanatik" - England's capital team wants to attract Wesley Sneijder from Istanbul's Galatasaray to their ranks.
The Dutchman is often associated with moves elsewhere, but this time the talks are given weight by the fact that Sneijder, along with Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho, triumphed in the UEFA Champions League in 2010.
Another target of the "aristocrats," according to journalist Giancula Di Marzio, is Bologna defender Amadou Diawara. He reports that the 18-year-old's agent Robert Visanas has reached an agreement with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich's close associate Pini Zahavi. The latter has previously acted as an intermediary when the Russian acquired the London club.
Meanwhile, last season's Premier League champions are looking in the local market for an attacker. They are interested in West Bromwich Albion member Saido Berahino.
The Telegraph reports that Jose Mourinho is considering making a £20 million offer in the winter.
It is worth noting that Berahino wanted to leave his current team in the summer, but was not allowed to do so. After these disagreements, the striker was upset, but ultimately, it seems, the situation has been resolved.
