On Saturday in the city of Porto, Portugal, the UEFA Champions League final took place. For the second time in the club's history, London's "Chelsea" team triumphed in the decisive match, defeating "Manchester City" players by a minimal score of 1-0. Both teams were not sitting back in defense from the very beginning of the match and were creating dangerous moments near the opponents' goal. Within the ranks of "Chelsea," Timo Werner had several opportunities, while Raheem Sterling and Phil Foden could have led "Man City" forward. The first and only goal of the final came in the 42nd minute, when Kai Havertz sent the ball into the net after a brilliant pass from Mason Mount. In the second half, "City" tried to equalize, but failed to do so. Moreover, Christian Pulisic missed excellent opportunities to solidify the "aristocrats" victory. The situation for the "Citizens" was further exacerbated by Kevin De Bruyne's injury in the 60th minute. "Chelsea" won the UEFA Champions League for the second time in the club's history.
