London's "Chelsea" may soon be adding newcomers, foreign media reports.
According to "Sky Sports Italia," the team led by Antonio Conte has reached an agreement with "Roma" for the acquisition of two of their players. The "Blues" are expected to add striker Edin Dzeko and left-back Emerson for 50 million euros.
It is reported that the deal will include Michy Batshuayi, who will be loaned to "Roma" until the end of the season to replace E. Dzeko. The "Romans" wanted another 15 million euros for this deal, but "Chelsea" was not willing to pay more.
23-year-old Emerson has been playing for "Roma" since 2015. A. Conte wants more competition on the left side of defense, where Marcos Alonso plays almost without rest.
Meanwhile, E. Dzeko is at the peak of his career - this season he scored 13 goals and made four assists in 28 matches.
