"Chelsea" will soon exceed the £100 million mark spent in this transfer window. Journalist Fabrizio Romano announced that "Chelsea" has reached an agreement with "Brighton" team for the transfer of defender Marco Cucurella. Jacob Stenberg from "Guardian" adds that the "aristocrats" will pay as much as £52.5 million for this defender. The "Brighton" team may be supplemented by a young defender from a London team Levi Colwill. However, this would be a separate deal, including a buy-back option for the "Chelsea" club. Thomas Tuchel will use the newly arrived defender M. Cucurella in the position of a left-back, where the Spaniard will be the backup for Ben Chilwell. There is also discussion about using the Spaniard in a three-defender line. This summer, "Chelsea" has already acquired Kalidou Koulibaly (€40m) and Raheem Sterling (£47.5m). Updated at 22:59. Brighton team officially denied these rumors.
