On Saturday, in the English Premier League, the 26th round of matches was played.
London's Chelsea clashed with Swansea in front of their own fans. Antonio Conte's players did not have an easy time, but they surpassed their opponents with a 3-1 result.
In the 19th minute, Cesc Fabregas, after a great pass from Pedro, put the Blues ahead. Throughout the rest of the first half, Chelsea dominated every inch of the field, but during stoppage time, Swansea equalized after a set-piece, with Fernando Llorente scoring the goal.
In the second half, the London team did not have an easy time breaking the opponent's defense, but in the 72nd minute, Pedro's great strike once again put the hosts ahead. In the 84th minute, Diego Costa's accurate shot secured the victory.
The leaders Chelsea currently have a solid 11-point advantage over their closest pursuers from Manchester.
In other matches, Liverpool's Everton defeated Sunderland 2-0. Crystal Palace and West Brom also celebrated victories, while the Hull City vs. Burnley match ended in a draw.
In the last match of the evening, Watford faced West Ham. The Hammers took the lead early in the game, but Andre Ayew's goal resulted in a 1-1 draw.
