In the English Premier League on Saturday, the seventeenth round of matches was played.
With Jose Mourinho no longer at home, London's "Chelsea" clashed with the "Sunderland" footballers. The "Blues" played like a different team and without much difficulty defeated the visitors 3-1.
The beginning of the match was particularly successful for the "Blues." In the 5th minute, Branislav Ivanovic took the Londoners into the lead, and after eight minutes Pedro increased the advantage.
In the 50th minute, Oscar scored from the 11-meter mark, and "Chelsea" gained a convincing advantage. However, Fabio Borini managed to reduce the deficit, but the final result remained 3-1 and future Guus Hiddink's charges celebrated a secure victory.
Manchester United could not celebrate a successful performance, as they have not been able to win in four consecutive matches. Louis van Gaal's team suffered a 2-1 defeat against "Norwich" and dropped one position down.
Other matches ended with victories for London's "Tottenham," "Crystal Palace," "Bournemouth," and a draw between "Newcastle" and "Aston Villa."
