"Chelsea" sets its sights on G. Pique: €30 million offer

London's "Chelsea" has shown serious interest in Barcelona defender Gerard Pique.

It is reported that the "Blues" have already submitted a €30 million offer to the Catalan team and are awaiting a positive response.

The club coached by Jose Mourinho hopes to outbid the "Man Utd" team, which also dreams of one of the best defenders in Europe.

If both sides successfully conclude negotiations, G. Pique will move to England in January.

The 27-year-old World and European champion briefly played in the Premier League from 2004-2008 when he represented "Manchester United." In the 2006-2007 season, he was loaned to "Zaragoza," and he has been a member of "Barcelona" since 2008.
