On Monday evening, two more matches of the first round of the English Premier League were played. London's "Chelsea" team, significantly strengthened during the offseason, started the season triumphantly by defeating "Brighton" with a score of 3:1 away from home. The first goal of the match came in the 23rd minute, when Timo Werner took advantage of the opponents' mistake and earned a penalty kick, which was successfully converted by Jorginho. "Brighton" equalized the score in the 54th minute of the second half after a goal by Leandro Trossardo, but the "aristocrats" were back in front just a couple of minutes later when Reece James sent the ball into the net with a wonderful strike. "Chelsea" sealed the victory in the 66th minute after scoring from a corner kick by Kurt Zouma.
