London strategist Carlo Ancelotti says he has no plans to acquire forward Fernando Torres.
The English champions and current leaders of the league have scored the most goals in the country so far - 27.
"At the moment, we don't need another fantastic striker like Torres," Ancelotti said. "We want to successfully compete in all tournaments with the squad we have. The most important thing is to avoid injuries."
"Chelsea" is one of several clubs that have been linked with one of the struggling leaders of "Liverpool."
"Torres is not our target because we trust in young players," added the specialist from Italy. "We have amazing strikers - Didier Drogba, Nicolas Anelka, Salomon Kalou, as well as young talents - Daniel Sturridge and Gael Kakuta."
