"Chelsea" suffered their first defeat, "Stoke City" posed a threat to "Arsenal" players (VIDEO)

On Saturday, the 15th round of the English Premier League began, with several matches played.

The first match took place at the fortress of Newcastle, where the Magpies defeated London's Chelsea. Jose Mourinho's team lost 2-1 and suffered their first defeat in the league.

The first half had plenty of chances, but the first goals were only scored in the second half. In the 58th minute Papiss Cisse scored a precise goal to put Newcastle in the lead.

After the goal, Chelsea's defense did not hold up and in the 79th minute gained an even bigger advantage when Moussa Sissoko made a successful pass to P.Cisse, who became the hero of the match.

In the 82nd minute, Chelsea's hopes were revived when the home team's defender Steven Taylor was sent off the field after receiving a second yellow card. Chelsea took advantage of this and just a minute later Didier Drogba scored a goal, reducing the gap, but Newcastle held on for the win.

In the other matches, goals were not lacking, as Stoke City harshly defeated Arsenal. Playing at home, Stoke's players won 3-2 against the Gunners.

The home team unexpectedly gained a three-goal lead in the first half, with goals from Peter Crouch, Bojan Krkic, and Jonathan Walters.

It seemed that both teams were just going through the motions in the second half, but Arsenal showed character, scoring two goals but failing to equalize. Santi Cazorla and Aaron Ramsey each scored a goal, with the final result remaining 3-2.

Liverpool also failed to achieve victory, as they drew 0-0 at home against Sunderland. The Reds managed to climb to ninth place with the point earned.

Queens Park Rangers achieved an easy victory with a score of 2-0, while Tottenham and West Brom failed to score against each other.
