London's "Chelsea" is seeking to bring back forward Didier Drogba, who left the team in the summer.

The 34-year-old veteran moved to "Shanghai Shenhua", but after the end of the Chinese championship season, he would like to return to Europe temporarily under a loan agreement. Drogba has already requested a special FIFA permission for this step, as the transfer window is closed.

The English team is looking for reinforcement in the attacking line, as Fernando Torres' form does not please the specialists, and Daniel Sturridge is injured.

According to the current rules, the Ivory Coast national team star cannot represent another club until January 1st, but there may be an exception. The footballer wants to prepare properly for the African Nations Cup tournament, which will take place in South Africa from January 19 to February 10.

In China, Drogba played 11 matches and scored 8 goals.
