London's "Chelsea" coach Antonio Conte informed the club's leaders that during this winter transfer window he would try to acquire Genoa's "Sampdoria" forward Luis Muriel.
This information was reported by the Spanish football news weekly "Don Balon."
The Colombian national team member has been showing good form this season and has scored six goals and provided five assists in 14 "Serie A" matches.
Meanwhile, "Chelsea" has so far not utilized striker Michy Batshuayi in their tactics this season. In total, he has only played 75 minutes in the "Premier" league, contributing one goal and one assist to the team's results.
Conte hopes that strengthening the attacking line will help the "aristocrats" continue to successfully compete for the title of English champions and extend the bench of substitute players. Currently, the capital club relies mostly on Diego Costa's services in attack.
