London's "Chelsea" is nearing an agreement with 34-year-old goalkeeper Eduardo, announced Zagreb's "Dinamo" coach Zlatko Kranjcar.
The Croatian champions' strategist stated that the experienced goalkeeper's UEFA Champions League qualifying match against "Salzburg" next Wednesday will be his last. Therefore, Eduardo will strengthen the gates of the team led by Antonio Conte in the near future.
Undoubtedly, Thibaut Courtois will remain the main goalkeeper, but the team should retain Asmir Begovic.
"Eduardo has received the opportunity to join such a big club like 'Chelsea'," said Z. Kranjcar. "I think he will move to 'Chelsea' after the match against 'Salzburg'.
Eduardo, who triumphed in the European Championship this summer with the Portuguese national team, joined "Dinamo" in 2014.
