The English newspaper "Daily Mirror" reports that London's "Chelsea" is monitoring the situation of Aaron Ramsey at "Arsenal".
Ramsey's contract with the "Gunners" is only valid until the summer of 2019, but talks about his future in the team have not progressed at all.
"At the moment, there is nothing to comment on," - Ramsey stated earlier on "BT Sport". "I think at the moment they were busy with other contracts."
Indeed, during the winter transfer window, Mesut Ozil tied his future with "Arsenal" and the club is also negotiating with Jack Wilshere, who will become a free agent in just three months.
It is precisely this carelessness of competitors in safeguarding their players that "Chelsea" will seek to take advantage of, as they recently attracted long-time "Gunners" striker Olivier Giroud, and in the summer they made an offer for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who eventually moved to "Liverpool".
Ramsey scored seven goals and made 10 assists in 23 matches this season.
