Chiellini extends contract with "Juventus" club © EuroFootball.com

Giorgio Chiellini has extended his contract with the Turin club for another two years in the near future.

The current contract of the Italian national team defender will expire in June 2012.

Now Juventus has officially confirmed that they are very close to reaching an agreement with the player's representatives and signatures will be put within two weeks.

Chiellini joined the ranks of the "Old Lady" in 2005, coming from the "Fiorentina" club. In the summer, several famous European teams showed interest in him, including "Man City" and Bayern Munich."
