On Tuesday, the battles of the quarter-final stage of the UEFA Champions League continued.
In an interesting match at the "San Siro" stadium, Milan's "Inter" and Madrid's "Atletico" clubs clashed. After a fierce game, it became clear that the home team from Spain led with a minimal advantage, defeating Diego Simeone's army with a score of 1-0.
At the start of the match, "Atletico" forward S. Lino tried to slip past, but his shot missed the goal.
In the 31st and 36th minutes, "Inter" forward L. Martinez actively tried to play, but the Argentine remained empty-handed.
At the end of the first half, "Atletico" goalkeeper J. Oblak continued to play reliably and the score remained unchanged.
The second half began with an inaccurate shot from M. Arnautovic, and after 20 minutes the Austrian wasted another opportunity.
In the 79th minute, the only goal of the match fell - J. Oblak saved L. Martinez's shot, but M. Arnautovic, following up, left no chance for the Spanish defense - 1-0.
At the end of the second half, "Atletico" had a chance to at least equalize, but A. Morata missed the goal.
