On Tuesday, the UEFA Champions League semi-final stage kicked off. In the first match, "Manchester City" defeated Madrid's "Real" team at home in an impressive duel with a score of 4:3. The match started fantastically for "City" as Kevin De Bruyne scored with a header in just the 2nd minute. By the 11th minute, the hosts were leading 2:0 after a precise shot by Gabriel Jesus. The "Citizens" continued to dominate the field, but in the 33rd minute, the unstoppable Karim Benzema reduced "Real's" deficit. "Man City" started the second half powerfully again and in the 53rd minute, Phil Foden restored his team's two-goal advantage. However, just a few minutes later Vinicius Junior impressed with a run and once again reduced the visitors' lead. "City" continued to press their opponents and it paid off: in the 74th minute, Bernardo Silva scored the fourth goal for the team. "Real" did not give up and in the 81st minute had a chance to score from the penalty spot, which K. Benzema calmly converted. The "Citizens" tried to increase their lead but the final whistle confirmed a narrow victory for the hosts.
