On Wednesday, the Napoli team faced a significant challenge. Recently, the Italian team, with a new head coach, began their performance in the UEFA Champions League knockout stages.

The first match, held at the Serie A team's stadium, ended in a 1-1 draw.
In the beginning of the match, the Catalans played more actively, but L. Yarmolenko missed two opportunities.
In the 14th and 22nd minute, R. Lewandowski and I. Gundogan tried their luck, but neither the Polish nor the German strikes found the target.
The visitors started the second half more successfully, and in the 60th minute R. Lewandowski gave Barcelona a minimal lead of 0-1.

The Napoli team did not give up and in the 75th minute, V. Osimhen equalized the score to 1-1 with a fine play in the penalty area.
The second leg match will be played in Barcelona on March 12.
