The Turkish football was shaken by a rare event. It is reported that by the end of the season, as many as 13 referees are banned from working in the league. Among the suspended referees, the name of the famous Cuneyt Cakir is mentioned. The latter referee often "made a name for himself" with his work in the UEFA Champions League - for example, this season he scandalously officiated the matches of "Milan" and Madrid's "Atletico".
