Close to a "Real" purchase of yet another Brazilian talent

The president of the Brazilian club "Novorizontino", Genilson da Rocha Santos, revealed that Madrid's "Real" is close to luring 17-year-old Rodrigo Rodrigues.

The attacking midfielder has not yet fully integrated into his team's main lineup, but he already attracted attention last year when he debuted against "Santos".

He was then loaned to "Palmeiras", where the talent representing the youth team played excellently.

"Rodrigo is in Madrid, where he is undergoing a medical check-up, and if nothing unexpected happens, he will sign a contract with Madrid's "Real" for the next three seasons," Santos revealed to AS.

"Rodrigo is a versatile forward, capable of playing on the wings or in the midfield. He is fast, has explosive strength, and has improved significantly since moving to 'Novorizontino' at the age of 14."

"He can be proud to see him shining in a tournament in Europe and catching the attention of a club like Madrid's "Real".

Let us remind you that recently the "royal" club paid as much as 45 million euros for Flamengo's 17-year-old Vinicius Junior.
